After your consultation, you’ll begin your treatment. The treatment itself will depend on the cosmetic procedure you’re having, so let’s take a look at the most common possibilities.
Veneers
If you’re unhappy with the colour or shape of your teeth, our cosmetic dentists can give you a brighter, more even smile with veneers. We’ll start by examining your teeth for underlying decay or other oral health issues. If everything is healthy, we then grind off the outer layer of your teeth to make room for the veneers.
When this is done, we’ll take moulds or scans of your teeth and send them to the lab, along with your colour specifications, to create your customised veneers. When the veneers are ready, you’ll simply return to the office where we’ll place and secure your veneers with dental cement and your new smile will be ready to go.
Invisalign
If you want to improve your teeth’s alignment with Invisalign, we begin by assessing your teeth and creating a treatment plan. Our cosmetic dentists Dr Thomas Vo, Dr Seth Yoo and Dr Dunia Draca can determine the ideal way to reach your ideal results.
From here, we’ll take scans of your teeth and send them to the lab to create your customised aligners based on your treatment plan. When you receive your aligners, we’ll instruct you about how long to wear each one. You’ll merely come in a few times for us to check your progress and by the time your last aligner is finished, you’ll have the smile you’ve been dreaming about.
Braces
If you prefer traditional braces to Invisalign, you’ll get the same straighter smile but with a different process. After your consultation, your first appointment is called your banding appointment. During this visit, we’ll place the individual brackets on each tooth, then attach the wires and modules to apply pressure. This will start moving your teeth in the right direction.
Approximately every six to eight weeks, you’ll return so that our doctors can adjust your braces, further moving your teeth in the desired direction. You’ll continue this process until we reach that beautiful, well-aligned smile you love. When the treatment is complete, you’ll have your debanding appointment to remove the braces.
Teeth Whitening
If you’re happy with your teeth’s alignment, size, and shape, but you want to improve the colour, teeth whitening could be the perfect fit for your smile. We offer two options. The first is in-office professional whitening, in which you receive your treatment at our office and you leave with instant results.
